Οικονομία
Η λέξη “Οικονομία” πρέπει σίγουρα να έχει επινοηθεί εμπνευσμένη απο πράξεις γυναικών. Είναι κατασκευασμένη απο δύο λέξεις, τις, “Οίκος” (Σπίτι) και “Νόμος”. Επομένως σημαίνει “Ο νόμος του σπιτιού”. Ο όρος με τα χρόνια διεύρυνε το φάσμα εφαρμογών του και απέκτησε μια καινούργια σημασία καθώς “η ιδέα μιας νομοθεσίας αναφορικά με τις διαδικασίες, προτεραιότητες και χρήσεις των διαθέσιμων μέσων και χρόνου, ωθημένη απο ένα αίτημα επιβίωσης, εν μέσω ενός πεπερασμένου περιβάλλοντος”, εφαρμόστηκε σε ευρύτερες κοινωνικές δομές όπως το σύνολο των χρηματοπιστωτικών και όχι μόνο, κανόνων μιας κοινωνίας.
